I had to come back to Adobo two days in a row — that’s how amazing the food is. Hands down, the best tacos I’ve ever had. Every bite is packed with flavor, and even the taco shell on its own tastes so good, I could eat it empty and still be happy! The guacamole? Fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned easily the best I’ve had anywhere. And don’t even get me started on the honey chipotle chicken… it’s out of this world. Sweet, smoky, tender absolutely unforgettable. To top it all off, they’re open until 3:00 AM, which makes this place a lifesaver for late-night cravings. If you haven’t tried Adobo yet, you’re seriously missing out!
Absolutely love this place, food is amazing with great serving sizes, hospitality is on another level, prices are very well priced. Been going here as a regular spot for months now and my only complaint is that I never have the stomach room to finish my plate. 12/10 on all scales
Went in late and they were busy but I got my food right away , they even let me taste the different meat. I wanted messy nachos & they did that exactly my cousin got a quesadilla and it was huge 10/10 deffffff recommend and the guacamole was freshhh
They have the best food , it’s soooooo good! The employees are all family and are always very nice and accommodating. The two sons are very kind. There’s vegan, vegetarian, and halal options here. The cauliflower, tofu, habanero, and mango salsa is so tasty.
Amazing food and even better service! You can genuinely feel the love the cooks put into every meal. They’re always kind and welcoming, taking the time to ask what you’d like on your order and making sure everything is just right. The chicken is always perfect—tender, flavorful, and cooked with care. With so many toppings and sauces to choose from, every visit feels fresh and exciting. Definitely my go-to spot!
Amazing new halal Mexican bowl spot in Selden. It's super clean and has good amount of seating space inside. They have a wide assortment of options for toppings as well as some savory and sweet sides and desserts. I ordered the honey chicken bowl with rice, beans, and other toppings. It was super filling and delicious! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to drop by again and try something else.
I’ve always loved Adobo and have been a regular customer. I've dined in, ordered takeout, and used their delivery service many times. The food has consistently been great, and the two brothers who run the place have always been friendly and generous with portions, presenting everything nicely. However, I've noticed a decline in service ever since new staff started working there. Lately, the women working behind the counter don’t seem to take the same care with preparing the food. On one visit, the younger woman was making my bowl while simultaneously helping other customers, touching the register, the phone, and the iPad in the back—all while wearing the same gloves she used to handle my food. That was honestly pretty gross and concerning. The cleanliness of the food prep area has also gone downhill. I often see it messy and smeared with sauces and cheese, which makes it unappetizing to order from. The dining area isn’t much better. Just last night, there was rice and chicken all over the floor, table, and seats—as if someone had dropped their food and no one bothered to clean it up, despite there being at least six employees on shift. The trash can is always overflowing, and the tables rarely seem to be wiped down anymore, making dining in an unpleasant experience. I understand that things can get busy, but maintaining a clean and welcoming environment is essential, especially for this type of restaurant where the food is out in the open. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make some improvements, because the food is still great—it just deserves better care and presentation.
